That is the paradox. That very Padmapurana which is supposed to have the
Mayavadam asat shaastram... verses which also derides the jiva - brahma
aikya, also the portraying of Shiva as the Supreme as censurable, has the
above cited verses too that teach aikya, teaching Shiva as the Supreme.
