And who decides this so-called truth value?! Even in laukika matters such
as medicine, engineering, etc, at which institution one studied, under
which Prof did one train or have one's research carries a lot of weight.
Nobody values those without education in the respective fields. Does anyone
call out elitism there? Vedanta is not even verifiable by "others", the way
most laukika matters are. shAstra, preserved by the teaching tradition,
alone is the authority.
