Failure to do Nitya Karma will lead to Pratyavaya Dosha for all excluding
Sanyasis. Dvijas have to do Nitya Karma compulsorily. It is not optional.

Adi Sankara’s argument is for Sanyasis renouncing all Karma. Not for
Brahmacharis and Grihasthas.
