Here is just one of many such references:

ध्यायन् कृते यजन् यज्ञैस्त्रेतायां द्वापरेऽर्चयन्।

यदाप्नेति दताप्नेति कलौ संकी‌र्त्य केशवम्॥  (विष्णुपुराण)

सत्ययुग में भगवान् का ध्यान, त्रेता में यज्ञों द्वारा यजन और द्वापर में
उनका पूजन करके मनुष्य जिस फल को पाता है, उसे वह कलियुग में केशव का
कीर्तनमात्र करके प्राप्त कर लेता है।


It is to be noted that all the above means like dhyAna, yaaga, pUja and
nAmasamkIrtan will bring about chitta shuddhi to the one engaged in these.
Mukti has the saadhana of shravana, manana and nididhyAsana.  Chittashuddhi
eases this mukti saadhana.
