Pranams to lotus feet of Gurus,
Shri Ramo Jayatu.
 This is a vedapatashala-like full-time gurukulam initiative for kanya
girls starting at 6-8 yrs of age*. This gurukulam is run under the guidance
of the Paramapujya Sringeri Shankaracharya Jagadgurus.

Core curriculum: Shastriya samskritam preparatory for learning shastra.
Samskritam is the medium of instruction.

Focus areas in the initial years - shabda-dhatu patanam, amarakosha,
ashtadhyayi, sahityam/kavyam, tarka sangraha, shaankara stotrams, Srimad
Ramayanam and Srimad Bhagavatam.

*Other areas of focus* *samskriti*- nithya pooja paddhati, go paalanam,
nithya anushtanam/japam, kolam, cooking, e.t.c *kala - choice of dedicated
adhyayanam of vocal music, veenai, fine arts, chess* kriya -weekly silambam
sessions and play time. yoga - daily yoga sessions with focus on yoga
shastram

*Modern subjects* - English, Math, science via agile shaala, Bangalore (
https://agileshaala.com) *X, XII through NIOS exam system*.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE: girls aged *6-8 yrs*. older girls may be considered after
screening. Parents and children should have a strong intent to pursue
shastriya samskritam and samskriti.

FEE: This is a dharmic institution. *No fee* is charged. Voluntary
donations are accepted as *guru dhakshina*.

ADMISSIONS: ONLY AFTER a screening interview of the child and parents.
Academic year begins in June 2026. Recommend parents to visit and witness
the operations of the gurukulam *before April 22, 2026* to get the
experience.
