[Advaita-l] Fwd: Monkey-faced Nandi at Sringeri

At the Sri Vidyashankara Temple (constructed in 1338) at Sringeri, among
the dvarapalakas (door guardians) situated outside the sanctum of the
presiding deity, there is a sculpture of Nandi with a monkey-like face.

This statue is present in Aavudayarkovil..in Tamilnadu.. A temple full of
surprises and uniqueness..
