*Release of a new Book, The Multifaceted Jīvanmukta (Abridged Edition), a
detailed biography of His Holiness Jagadguru Śrī Abhinava-vidyātirtha
Mahāsvāmin.*

On the sacred 108th jayantī (on 20th October, 2025) of His Holiness
Jagadguru Śrī Abhinava-vidyātirtha Mahāsvāmin, the 35th Jagadguru
Shankaracharya of the Sringeri Sharada Peetham, the Centre for Brahmavidya
reverentially releases the book, The Multifaceted Jīvanmukta (Abridged
Edition).

The unabridged original edition of this book was released on 18th October
2017, on His Holiness’s birth centenary, by His Holiness Jagadguru Śrī
Bhāratī-tīrtha Mahāsvāmin, the present Pontiff of the Peetham, who had
directed that the book be written and graced it with His signed śrīmukha.
Hard copies of that publication went out of stock quickly, but the free
digital edition has remained available, with over 600,000 downloads to date.

This abridged edition, being released today, fulfils the long-standing
demand for physical copies; it comprises 450 pages, and its handy 9”×6”
size makes it easy to hold and read. It is priced at ₹300. However, it is
being offered at a subsidised special price of ₹250 till the end of October
2025.

The chapters of the original book containing His Holiness’s scriptural
expositions, parables, essays, scientific insights, and tours have been
omitted. The teachings appear in the book “From Sorrows to Bliss”,
published by the Centre for Brahmavidya, available in print and as a free
download. His Holiness’s scientific insights are elaborated in “Scientific
Evidence – Vedantic Light”, and this book is available in physical form and
as a freely downloadable e-book. The chapter on His tours is now issued
separately by the Centre for Brahmavidya as a free downloadable document
titled “The Vijayayātras of His Holiness Jagadguru Śrī Abhinava-vidyātīrtha
Mahāsvāmin.”

The present abridged edition has been prepared and published as per the
directive of His Holiness Jagadguru Śrī Bhāratī-tīrtha Mahāsvāmin and with
