It should also be known that the Kumbhaghonam edition is painstakingly made
by Madhwas who are Vaishnavas to the core. That they have permitted these
verses speaks for itself. Just because this is Southern edition it doesn't
cease to be pramana. There are other Puranas too that have said about
people returning from Vishnu loka, Vaikuntha only substantiating the
Mahabharata statement.
