[Advaita-l] Knowledge of Oneness that negates the illusion of difference - Brahma purana

In this chapter of the Brahma Purana, it is stated that all forms of gods
are of the Supreme Lord Shiva, and this knowledge of oneness removes the
illusion of separation:

ब्रह्मोवाच
ते तमूचुर्मुनिवरं ज्ञानदः कोऽभिधीयते।
ब्रह्मा विष्णुर्महेशो वा आदित्यो वाऽपि चन्द्रमाः।। १५८.२२ ।।
अग्निश्च वरुणः कः स्याज्ज्ञानदो मुनिसत्तम।
अगस्त्यः पुनरप्याह ज्ञानदः श्रूयतामयम्।। १५८.२३ ।।
या आपः सोऽग्निरित्युक्तो योऽग्निः सूर्यः स उच्यते।
यश्च सूर्यः स वै विष्णुर्यश्च विष्णुः स भास्करः।। १५८.२४ ।।
यश्च ब्रह्मा स वै रुद्रो यो रुद्रः सर्वंमेव तत्।
यस्य सर्वं तु तज्ज्ञानं ज्ञानदः सोऽत्र कीर्त्यते।। १५८.२५ ।।
Brahma, Vishnu Rudra and all the deities are really Rudra. It is Rudra who
gives this knowledge.
देशिकप्रेरकव्याख्याकृदुपाध्यायदेहदाः।
गुरवः सन्ति बहवस्तेषां ज्ञानप्रदो महान्।। १५८.२६ ।।
तदेव ज्ञानमत्रोक्तं येन भेदो विहन्यते।
एक एवाद्वयः शंभुरिन्द्रमित्राग्निनामभिः।।
वदन्ति बहुधा विप्रा भ्रान्तोपकृतिहेतवे।। १५८.२७ ।।
It is this knowledge that eliminates the illusory bheda buddhi, perception
of difference.
'एक एवाद्वयः शंभुरिन्द्रमित्राग्निनामभिः।।
वदन्ति बहुधा विप्रा भ्रान्तोपकृतिहेतवे।। १५८.२७ ।।
The above lines remind us of this mantra from the well-known Rigveda:
ओ३म् इन्द्रं मित्रं वरुणमग्निमाहुरथो दिव्य: स सुपर्णो गरुत्मान् |
एकं सद्विप्रा बहुधा वदन्त्यग्निं यमं मातरिश्वानमाहु: ||
ऋग्वेद 1/194/46 ||
This mantra is quoted by Shankara:
बृहदारण्यकोपनिषद्भाष्यम्प्रथमोऽध्यायःचतुर्थं ब्राह्मणम्मन्त्र ६ - भाष्यम्
पर एव तु मन्त्रवर्णात् — ‘इन्द्रं मित्रं वरुणमग्निमाहुः’ (ऋ. १ । १९४ । ४६)
