[Advaita-l] A major Vedanta premise in the Agni Purana

Brahman is the transcendental reality; the world is sublated/negated.

भिद्यमानस्य तस्यायं द्वैविध्यमुपगीयते ।
प्रत्यक्षादिप्रमाणैर्यद्बाधितं तदसद्विदुः ।। ३४७.३८ ।।
Whatever is grasped by Pratyaksha, etc. pramana-s should be known as unreal.
कविभिस्तत् प्रतिग्राह्यं ज्ञानस्य द्योतमानता ।
यदेवार्थक्रियाकारि तदेव परमार्थसत् ।। ३४७.३९ ।।

What is subject to knowledge is real to the ignorant. (Note that this is an
implicit reference to 'drshya mithyAtvam', vyavaharika)
.........ज्ञानतस्त्वेकं ब्रह्मैव परमार्थसत् ।
विष्णुः स्वर्गादिहेतुः स शब्दालङ्काररूपवान् ।। ३४७.४० ।।
From the point of view of knowledge, Brahma is the only supreme truth.
अपरा च परा विद्या तां ज्ञात्वा मुच्यते भवात् ।। ३४७.४१ ।।
इत्यादिमहापुराणे आग्नेये अलङ्कारे काव्यदोषविवेको नाम
सप्तचत्वारिंशदधिकत्रिशततमोऽध्यायः ।।

नान्यस्माद्द्वैतसंस्कारसंस्कृतं मानसं तथा । 62ab
ऋभुः प्राह निदाघन्तं ब्रह्मज्ञानाय चागतः । 62cd
परमार्थं सारभूतमद्वैतं दर्शितं मया ॥ 62॥ 62ef
इहागतोऽहं यास्यामि परमार्थस्तवोदितः ॥ 53cd
एकमेवमिदं विद्धि न भेदः सकलं जगत् । 54ab
वासुदेवाभिधेयस्य स्वरूपं परमात्मनः ॥ 54cd
Paramartha Tattva is Advaita, not Bheda. It has been said that the essence
of God named Vasudeva is Advaita.
Thus in the Agnipurana the transcendental reality, pAramArthika satyatva,
of Brahman and the falsity of the world, which is accepted only in Advaita,
is stated.
Also read here that in many places in Vishnu Purana this 'pAramarthika -
vyAvahArika' terminology is used in a way that applies only in Advaita:
