[Advaita-l] How Many Bhashyas Did Adi Shankara Write

Dear Shri Sreenivasa Murthy and friends,

Further to my last mail, I wish to draw the kind attention of  the
scholarly group members to the fact that the respected Swami Chinmayanandaji
is no more, as he passed away 30 years ago, and now what we can try is to
find out  any other living scholar(s), who could have gone through the
various AdiShankara-Digvijaya texts, to see if any of  of them can tell us
at the earliest possible,  if any of the texts had mentioned the number of
Bhashyas authored by Adi Shankaracharya.

For this type of work we have to keep our personal egos aside, *Of course,
the Advaitins know the best that ego is the greatest hindrance in the path
of the advaitic liberation.*.
