[Advaita-l] Fwd: There is no river equal to Ganga and no god equal to Shiva and Vishnu

There is this verse in the Skanda Purana:

स्कन्दपुराणम्/खण्डः ७ (प्रभासखण्डः)/प्रभासक्षेत्र माहात्म्यम्/अध्यायः २०८

नास्ति भूमिसमं दानं नास्ति गंगासमा सरित् ॥
नास्ति सत्यात्परो धर्मो नान्यो देवो महेश्वरात् ॥ ॥ 7.1.208.३० ॥

There is no gift equal to gifting land. There is no river equal to the
Ganges. There is no religion other than truth. There is no God other than
Shiva.

There is this verse in Agni purana:

अग्निपुराणम्/अध्यायः ३८२

नास्ति विष्णुसमन्ध्येयं तपो नानशनात्परं ।
नास्त्यारोग्यसमं धन्यं नास्ति गङ्गासमा सरित् ।। ३८२.१४ ।|

There is no goal greater than Vishnu. There is no more tapas than fasting.
Health is a great fortune. There is no river equal to the Ganges.

Both these types of verses are completely acceptable only to Advaitins.
