In this chapter the spiritual practice is explained at length and finally
it is said that it culminates in the unified experience of Aham Brahmasmi,
the Mahavakya of Vedanta:

Repeated meditation on Brahman leads to Samadhi and culminates in the
realization - Aham Brahmasmi.
घटध्वंसाद्यथाकाशमभिन्नं नभसा भवेत् ।
मुक्तो जीवो ब्रह्मणैवं सद्‌ब्रह्म ब्रह्म वै भवेत् ।। ३८२.३५ ।।
Ghatakasha - Mahakasha example is mentioned to convey this unity.
A liberated soul remains as Brahman. Ghatakasa, pot-ether, is only the
infinite ether as though conditioned by the pot-upadhi . In fact, ether did
not really get any limitation. When the pot is destroyed, the ether in it
remains one with the universal ether. This unification is not any action,
not a process.
This ether-example is cited in many places across the Veda, smriti and in
the Bhagavata, etc. in the same sense as above. This example is used time
and again in the Advaita Bhashya literature.
आत्मानं मन्यते ब्रह्म जीवो ज्ञानेन नान्यथा ।
जीवो ह्यज्ञानतत्कार्य्यमुक्तः स्यादजरामरः ।। ३८२.३६ ।।
A sadhaka knows himself as Brahman through knowledge. It is stated here
that jiva bhaava is conceived out of ignorance.
These premises apply only in Advaita. They are contradictory to other
systems.
