There are two cases even when redness is perceived in the crystal:
1) when the red flower is so close to the crystal that it is also seen
while the crystal is being observed.
2) when the red flowed is close but not close enough to the crystal to be
seen while the crystal is being observed.

1 is a case of anyathAkhyAti, while 2 is that of anirvachanIyakhyati.

Similar rules can be applied to the above if a vyAvahArika snake is next to
the rope which is being wrongly perceived as a snake, while both are in the
scope of vision.
