This is not in line with gita. Lord Krishna clearly says that he is the
source of all. And shri shankaracharya commentary says knowing this truth
that krishna is the source of all one becomes liberated from sins.
Further, the lord has declared that there is nothing greater than him in
gita. Shri madusudhana Saraswati says there is no greater truth than shri
krishna.
 With regards to krishna taking a form, the lord clarifies saying that he
is ajah(unborn) but with the control of his own Maya he takes the beautiful
form of shriman narayana.

With regards to Hari Hara aikya, the same supreme Atman called narayana has
come as both Shiva and hari. Hence the Mahabharata says one principle moves
around as two.
