The two forms, of Shiva and Vishnu, are One. There is no difference between
the two. Glory to Shiva who is of the form of Vishnu and glory to Vishnu of
the form of Shiva. They both are verily the essence of each other. Brahma,
Vishnu and Maheswara are but one form. There is no distinction among the
Three. O Yayati, you are both Shiva bhakta and Vishnu bhakta. The
Trimurti-s are pleased with you and will grant you boons.

is an upabrhmanam of the Skanda
Upanishad. The Smarta-s of the Kannada and Telugu region recite this along
with a few more verses of the same nature, during their every sandhya
worship.
