[Advaita-l] 'lens-grass' burning analogy

Thanks, I'll check it out.

I located one instance, in the Siddhantakalpavalli, authored by Sri
Sadashiva Brahmendra Saraswati.  In the 27th verse of the 3rd chapter
therein is this verse:

वृत्त्यारूढः साक्षी
शमयेत् सविलासमज्ञानम् |
आरुह्य सूर्यकान्तं
दहति तृणं रविकरो यथेत्येके || 3. 27 ||


Brahman that is manifest in the (akhandAkaara) vRtti alone dispels
Ignorance, samsara (the effect of Ignorance) and the (akhandAkaara) vRtti
that is part of Ignorance/samsara. This is like a sunray (falling on a
sun-stone/crystal, quartz/feldspar) focused through a lens burns the blade
of grass.
