It is also in direct contradiction with Taittiriya shruti

तस्माद्वा एतस्माद्विज्ञानमयात् । अन्योऽन्तर आत्मानन्दमयः ।
So as per you, one of the Shrutis should be wrong and you would go ahead
and change it to your
liking!

Given that Shankara's understanding about Atman itself is highly

Since Shruti itself should not be changed as per Advaitin, though it may be
very fluid for
Madhvacharya
, the latter's respect for Shruti is questionable let alone understanding.
Shankaracharya's
understanding is the only right understanding which goes as
tAtparyanishcaya
across all Shrutis. The seeming contradiction is resolved only in Advaita.
So you should be
questioning Madhvacharya
, who interprets shruti as per purANas,
 than pointing fingers at
Bhagavatpadacharya

.

You would do better to stick to points raised logically or with shruti,
instead of
insulting
Advaitacharyas
, that too
on an Advaita-list! Then again, its a habit of many Madhvas: स्वभावस्तु

प्रवर्तते।
