The bhedabheda school that prevailed before Shankara has been refuted in
the BSB 2.1.14. There too, while they admit of an 'absolutely real'
difference, multiple jivas, real samsara, etc in bondage, they admit of an
absolute abheda, advaita, in liberation, moksha. Shankara has refuted this
position with many problems in this proposition and how the Upanishadic
teaching will not be complied with in this system. Thus, even they,
ultimately accept jiva-Brahma abheda in moksha.
