We are pleased to announce that Amrita Darshanam - International Centre for
Spiritual Studies - is organizing the *Three-day National Seminar on* *Śakti
Worship in India* in association with Narivada, Indira Gandhi National
Centre for the Arts (IGNCA).



*Dates: 21 – 23 September 2018*



*Venue: Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, Clappana P. O.,
Kollam, Kerala.*





Śakti worship is a unique phenomenon in India. It is deified for highly
evolved cultural, philosophical and social practices for the ultimate
realization of the Atman. The Seminar aims to recognize and revitalize the
significances of Śakti worship in Indian cultures and traditions across
centuries, and to create a platform for meaningful dialogues and
integration between experts, students and wider communities who are
interested in this field for further researches and studies.



The Seminar will be blessed with the presence of over 25 great scholars,
who will provide different perspectives and illumine the audience on many
different aspects of this topic. The collection of full papers presented
will be published by IGNCA as a book.
