[Advaita-l] How the name of the successor of Sringeri Sharada Peetham, Sri Vidushekhara Bharati SwaminaH was chosen

Sri Bharati Thirtha SwaminaH,the head of the foremost peetham of Advaita at
Sringeri, mentioned an interesting tidbit that he had wanted to name his
successor Sri Chandrashekhar Bharati SwaminaH after his paramaguru, but as
per custom it would not have been appropriate to do so. He therefore  chose
the name Vidushekhara Bharati since the Amarakosha mentions the names
chandra and vidhu to ve synonyms referring to the 'moon'. Here's the link
