Namaste

Panchayatana Puja has all five gods Siva, Vishnu, Sakti, Ganesha and
Surya. But Brahmins normally have to do Siva Panchayatana Puja with
Siva in the middle and others around Siva. This means Siva is the
central god and other gods are serving Him. Why is this? Because Siva
is the only god with both Saguna and Nirguna aspects according to Siva
Purana. Nirguna is higher than Saguna.
