Is the reader of this posting an Avatar of Vishnu? Is the writer of this posting an Avatar of Vishnu? Please ponder over in depth.
With warm and respectful regards,     Sreenivasa Murthy

Namaste All,
‎
The Vedas have incorporated the sacrifice of animals since the beginning. Did it suddenly become non violent? Has the slaughter of animals stopped since the Buddha? Vishnu being  the diety of Vedas, why did he preach without taking the Vedas as pramana thus making the whole avatara pointless?
‎
I am yet to ascertain the sources mentioned in this thread. ‎So I'll reserve comments on those.
‎
What is your opinion on Vyasa being the 9th Avatar?

Regards
Kripa ‎

I'll suggest you have a search on Google group bvp(bhAratIya vidvat
pariShad). There were long discussions about same at different times. They
used more sources from literature, etc.
