Namaste

But unfortunately there are people even today believing there is some curse
on Kanva Shakha Brahmins also. They say Kanva Shakha of Shukla Yajur Veda
Brahmins are cursed to be Brahmins till Mid day - Madhyanha and then they
become Sudras. Or it could be they are Sudras till Mid day and become
Brahmins after Mid day. Because of this curse some people from other
Shakhas and Vedas will not give daughters in marriage to these Brahmins.
But I think things are improving and not bad as earlier.

There are many Vedic Pundits in Kanva Shakha community.

I think the Kanva Brahmins must be accepted as Full Brahmins, not Half
Brahmins. We should not have quarrels in Brahmin communities.

May be this type of misunderstanding in Brahmins made the Atharvana Veda
Brahmins very small in number and almost extinct.
