Thank you Sriram. Shri Sadanandaji, namaskarams and your humility despite being a respected scholar and teacher is pleasing. Sri Devanathan researched in to this upanishad. If you know someone in Chinmaya Mission in Toronto, they can get his unfinished papers from the University.
Any reference to Gopala Tapani? Niranjan, did Madhusudana refer to this anywhere? I know Prabhodananda, Jiva, Visvanath and Baladev comment on Gopala Tapani. Visvanath refers to one Visveswara favourably. This upanishad teaches a mantra to achieve material ends and see Krishna.

Shree Rajaram - PraNAms
It is interesting, today we will be discussing the slokas in the panchakosha viveka of the Panchadasi (III:12-16) in our class. In the 16th sloka Shree Vidyaaranya refers to several upanishadic declarations and one of the Upanishads referenced is this Narasimha Purvataapani Upanishad besides Bri. Up., Mundaka, Katha, and swetaswatara) - this is with reference to Swayam joyti aspect and also the illumination of the entire universe. This is the first time I heard about this Upanishad. Would be happy to learn more about it.
