Mantra is very effective and gives direct results.  I have seen this
with my own eyes in this century itself. One of my close friend loved
a girl when he was  a student. But she went away with her family to
some unknown place This was 1992 so no mobile phones were there. But
he was madly in love. He always repeated a mantra of Devi day and
night sometimes with tears in eyes. He got admission to a engineering
college in a distant town thinking he will never meet that girl again.
But when he went to that town he found the girl living there with her
parents. After completion of the degree he asked for her hand and they
got married. They have two kids now.

The only explanation is Mantra is powerful.
