Sri Ramakrishna has said, "When you want to remove a thorn from the flesh, you use another thorn to remove it and then throw both away. Similarly when you wish to remove ignorance, you use knowledge. Afterwards both are thrown away".
To have knowledge there must be a knower. In the final state , there is neither a knower, knowledge or the known.
Another example is "The salt doll went to measure the depth of the sea, but never came back with that knowledge !".
