I have two sources for panchayata puja.  One is in the book
Brahmanityakarmasamucchaya by Pt. Durgashankar Shastri, and the other is
in a booklet published in Bombay by the Nirnaya Sagar press.  Neither
mentions it.

Please forward the mail though, I would be interested to read it.
