[Advaita-l] Unreal cause results in real effect

But there is a question. Lizard tail is Vyavharika Satya and it can be
Pratibhasika also. That Pratibhasika lizard tail made the people
afraid. I can understand this.

But for small children the elders will make them afraid saying some
Demon will come and eat them if they don't obey. The Demon is not
Vyavaharika and it is not Pratibhasika also because nobody has seen
him. How the Asat Vastu like Demon will make the children afraid? Can
the Asat Vastu give same real effect like the dream Vastu or
Pratibhasika Vastu like snake?
