And what does that tIvra-mumukShu doing with karma instead of renouncing them. 

In the bhAShya of very muNDaka mantra, AcAryaji says -  tu yat gRRihasteShu brahmavidyA-sampradAya-kartRRitva-Adi li~Ngam, na tat-sthita-nyAyam bAdhitum utsahate. tamaH-prakAshavat viruddhayoH ekatra sat-bhAvam kartum vidhi shatena api na shakyate kim uta kevalaiH li~NgaiH.
