Namaste

This event really happened. Once a man learned in Upanishads and Brahma
Sutra Bhashya went to see a Sanyasi. He wanted to have a thorough
discussion. But the Sanyasi asked him Do you do Sandhyavandana daily or
not? The man said I am not doing it regularly. The Sanyasi said Then there
is no discussion required with you. You first learn to do your Nitya Karma
unfailingly and come to me.

In the Advaita list we have to understand importance of Prerequisites and
following them without fail. Only then we can become eligible to discuss
Advaita. Otherwise it is waste of time.
