[Advaita-l] Need information on learning Vedas online

The topic of the thread is learning vedas, and hence the need for sanskrit language.
What percentage of population is really interested in this learning in the present day busy life.
IMHO that if the language has to increase its base, its utility in other fields has to be increased.
This will automatically draw people and teaching methods / teachers / scholars will develop for the demand to be fulfilled
In middle school (1968) sanskrit was taught as an optional third language and there were takers as well. The marks scored were added for grade purpose. I took it up but because of non usage it is almost lost and forgotten. This could be the case with many.
Only a few years back (2002) on wards I sincerely took up interest in Vedanta and am reviving it back again but may not be the case with many others who may not find much use...

A healthy, harmonious alignment between knowledge of the scholars and the
huge fluid energy, the enthusiasm and the dedicated executive cadre of
Samskrita Bharati (and the like) would be a great combination..
While the youthfulness of the zealous dedicated executive energies are
indispensably necessary for any 'good work of worth', it is the close
regulation of these energies from a maturity of a steady & unwavering,
wisdom that refuses to be carried away by the currents of the moment, can
reign in where it is needed, that ensures that the energetic 'work' is
'good and worthy'.
One day, or the other, this has to happen, in some form, in full measure,
going by the noble, laudable and impeccably good intentions of SB.
