Even with that, it is not obvious to me how the overall description is of Lakshmi, rather than of the नराधमs who are criticized.  Surely Lakshmi cannot be described as संमर्ददुष्कर्दमैः!

Thanks, but it would be good to look at the commentaries themselves if possible, of course.
