Simple. I didn't see anyone claim that faith is blind.

guru vedaanta vaakyaadiShu vishvaasaH iti shraddaaH ..

Faith is of an optimistic trusting nature. It means trusting the words of
the acharya to contain pure nectar until the student tastes it for himself.
