  One of the four-fold qualifications (saadhana
chatuShTaya) is the group of six accomplishments,
shama, dama, uparama, titikShaa, shraddhaa, and
samaadhana, described in more detail by
shrii shaNkaraacharya in "tattvabodha":

  shamaH kaH ?
  mano nigrahaH |

  What is shama? Control or mastery over the
mind.

  damaH kaH ?
  chakShuraadibaahyendriyanigrahaH |

  What is dama? Control of the external organs
as eye (beginning with), and so on.

  uparamaH kaH ?
  svadharmaanuShThaanameva |

  What is uparama? Strict observance of one's
own dharma (duty).

  titikShaa kaa ?
  shiitoShNasukhaduHkhaadisahiShNutvam |

  What is titikShaa? The endurance of heat and
cold, pleasure and pain, and so on.

  shraddhaa kiid.dashii ?
  guruvedaaMtavaakyaadiShu vishvaasaH shraddhaa |

  Faith in the words of the guru, and in the
scriptures is shraddhaa.

  samaadhaanaM kim ?
  Single-pointedness of the mind.

  mumukShutvaM kim ?
  mokSho me bhR^iyaad iti ichchhaa |

  "Let me attain mokSha" (liberation). This
intense yearning is mumukShutvaM.
